I used the good silcone bath sealer to build up succesive layers until it was a large gob. the fact that the transducer broke away is actually good. Most likely you can glue it back on as sgt. so if you break of the inserted nuts that came with the transducer, how else are you suppose to screw un your new. It would wiggle but still stay in place. today we are fixing a broken transducer to our lowrance unit. Far too many variables come in play for any type of accuracy.
